The park has a variety of offerings ranging from a visit to the Salty lake in Katwe, various mammal species of about 95 like the tree climbing lions at Ishasha sector, the 4 members of the Big 5 like Elephants, Buffaloes, Leopards, Lions among other species like Antelopes, spotted hyenas, Hippos and endangered chimpanzees. The park also offers over 600 bird species to the birders like the grey crowned crane, handsome francolin, martial eagle, grey crowned heron among others and also an insight of the Nile crocodiles, Giant Hippos at Kazinga channel.
Day 1- Pick up and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park – Stopover at the Mbarara for Lunch
Day 1 of the 3 Days Safari to Queen Elizabeth Staying at Mweya Safari Lodge starts with a pick up from Entebbe International Airport or at your Hotel. Our professional driver guide from Paradise Adventure Vacations will meet and greet you, brief you about the whole journey and then start the drive to Queen Elizabeth National park. The drive takes about 8 hours with a stopover at the Equator point at Kayabwe where you will have the famous water experience, balancing an egg on the nail and taking memorable pictures while standing on both the Northern and the Southern Hemispheres. Then we shall drive to Mbarara for a hearty lunch break at Igongo cultural center or Ajip hotel then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National park where you will visit the Katwe salty lake and evening Crater game drive before checking in at your accommodation for Dinner and an overnight.

Day 2: Queen Elizabeth National Park- Experiential lion and leopard tracking – Afternoon Boat cruise- Evening to Night Game drive
Day 2 of your 3 Days Safari to Queen Elizabeth Staying at Mweya Safari Lodge will take you to an experiential lion and Leopard Tracking in the Northern sector of the park. After your breakfast, you will head out to the Northern section of the park “Kasenyi planes”, while there, you will interface with the predators under the guidance of a ranger guide and researchers who drive around the park with radiation trackers. These trackers help them to find lions that have radio collars placed around their necks. After the tracking, we shall return back to the lodge for relaxation and lunch, later in the afternoon proceed for another ultimate experience on the Kazinga channel while cruising.
While on the cruise, you will view the herds of hippos taking in water, elephants drinking water on the banks of the kazinga channel, Nile crocodiles resting in the shade at the shores and also various bird species like the martial eagle, grey crowned crane, African green pigeon, and handsome francolin among other bird species. We shall return back to the lodge and wait for yet another exciting moment in the park. We shall then have an evening game drive until night fall in Mweya peninsular with an armed park ranger and spotlight torches, these will help you see nocturnal animals that become active in the night like leopards, spotted hyenas, lions, jackals and also large hippos feeding on short grass.

Day 3: Queen Elizabeth National Park – Chimpanzee Trekking in Kyambura Gorge or Kalinzu Forest – Drive back to Entebbe International Airport
On the final day of the safari, wake up for a heavy breakfast as you hear the sounds of the singing birds in the sky, you will then proceed for chimpanzee tracking experience in the Kyambura Gorge or Kalinzu forest. This exciting adventure will take you deep into the forest, here you will encounter different bird and butterfly species, Furthermore, and you will also be on the lookout for fascinating primates in their natural habitat. Meanwhile, after the chimpanzee tracking then head back to Entebbe International Airport or your Hotel with a stopover at Mbarara City or Ajip hotel for a hot lunch. This entire drive will take approximately 8 to 10 hours including a lunch stop over.
